[SOLVED] How to FORMAT the MMCBLK0

I an trying to install an Ubuntu Image on the mmcblk0 of the Up2 board, but the build fails due to mmcblk0 is full. I had a previous Win10 installation on. But i am unable to format the mmcblk0 completely.
How can i do this?
Can you please help. its becoming an expensive paper weight.

Maybe you can try with a live distribution og GParted or Partition Manager and try to format all your partitions. In this way you definitely delete everything from your partitions and all your board should be empty. After that you can try to install again your new Ubuntu Image.

You could try to use Gparted as @Sil said.
Also, assuming your are using the Ubuntu ISO from a USB stick:

During installation process, in the "Installation type" section, you can select "Erase disk and install Ubuntu". There, you will get your disk complete clean by the installer.
