windows c# application serial port

Hi.
I have a c# application that uses the Serial.Port() of the.Net Library, but for some reason, I can't make this work on Upboard.
When I run my application from a PC the app goes fine, but when I paste the app on the Upboard memory and run it, nothing happens. Does someone know what it's going on?
I'm using an Arduino connected on COM3 to communicate app and arduino..
