Supply with "Power pin header" and power filtering

in UP Squared Hardware Specification

Hey Guys,

can someone answer me some questions?

  1. Can i use the "Power pin header" (Look at the image) as power input instead of useing the 5V DC-IN Power Jack?
  2. Can I use every 5V 6A power source or is there a special requirement for e.g. filtering?
