AI Core XM 2280, Cooling Requirements

I noticed on the UP AI Core XM 2280 purchase page that the board appears to have an active cooling module on it.

Is active cooling required or can passive cooling be implemented?
Are there thermal specs available for the chips?

    I found the answer to my first question on the product page.

    AI Core comes equipped with a active heatsink; please check the available space and potential mechanical conflicts. Heatsink can be easily removed and replaced

    I still need info on what kind of heat the XM 2280 will output so I can design for a heat sink.
