WiFi monitor mode?

Testing a new Up Core, I have gotten all the drivers setup and can use Wifi - however, I noticed the WiFi 802.11 AC 2T2R does not appear to have a monitor interface. Are there any plans to add this, or are there any third party firmwares which have it? Thank you.
