Wont start up/ board led lit

Have a Asus a7v133 in an Enlight case that has problem starting up. Problem getting worse. Hit sart button and sometimes nothing. Opened up and checked switch/appears ok plugged back in -nothing, board LED on. Let sit and bingo it started. No problem once it is running. Problem seems to be more frequent and lasts longer before it will start.
Any ideas?
