HPET timer

I have a UP2 7000 board (UPM-ALN01) running BIOS UPN-ADLN01 R3.0 (UNASAM30)(08/23/2024).

I am troubleshooting a possible problem with a proprietary (non-Windows/non-LINUX) operating system that may be related to the HPET timer.

Is it possible to disable the HPET timer so that it is not detected by the host operating system ?

    Hi @VMSEAGLE

    Could you please let us know which operating system you are using?

    Also, could you clarify whether you would like to prevent the OS from using HPET or completely disable HPET so that it cannot be detected by the OS?

    This information will help us determine whether the issue can be addressed at the OS level or requires a BIOS modification.
