two questions. 1. what is the estimated lifetime of the battery in the UP2? 2. When the UP2 is on the powersupply, we assumed the battery is using energy. Is that correct?

The lifetime of an RTC battery is approximately 3 years.
The battery does not consume power when the board is powered on.Best Regards,
