How to solve intermittent booting to UEFI Shell (otherwise normal)

My Upxtreme i7 runs Ubuntu 20.04. Occasionally when powering up, instead of normalling booting into Ubuntu, it boots into the UEFI Shell. If I reset from the shell, the normal ubuntu boot occurs.

Why would this problem only happen sometimes when booting?

I see several other posts with a very similar issue, but no solutions. There was a suggestion that it was a low CMOS battery, but that did not seem to help others, or my situtation.

Thank you

    Hi @buddye

Have you ever changed bios settings??
Boot priority can be set in bios boot page.
You can try modifying it first to see if there is an improvement.

What bios version are you using??

    Best Regards,
