wifi driver?

I installed ubuntu 16.04.05 on a up core plus
I noticed the wifi was not loading so I tried to get the sdio.txt from nvram with
sudo cp /sys/firmware/efi/efivars/nvram-74b00bd9-805a-4d61-b51f-43268123d113 /lib/firmware/brcm/brcmfmac43455-sdio.txt
there's a wifi interface loading, and it's listing wifi network but impossible to join them

I also tried ubuntu 18.04. my goal is to get movidius
and real sense working, plus a few other things.

what's the right method to get the wifi working?

note: I tried to post in "up core plus / linux" but the category menu does not allow me to do that.
