Hello, does anyone know what the minimum UP board model that will run Win10? I read in another thread that someone got Win10 to run on the 4/64 model. I'm wondering if the 2/16 or 2/32 will also work.

Thank you

    It will work
We have installed Windows 10 also on 1GB RAM version.
If you want to run Windows 10 64 bit you need 2GB RAM and 32 GB eMMC.

I'm wondering on what you're basing those requirements on for a 64bit install (2GB RAM and 32GB eMMC), a "standard" retail Windows 10 image, or perhaps other hardware limitations of those specific models?

I have a modified 64bit Windows 10 Enterprise image with our custom software on , running on hardware with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage perfectly well. It only takes 3.5GB disk space and uses roughly 400MB RAM in a live environment - the 1GB RAM Up-Board variant is tempting for us as hardware clients but your comment confuses me.

    Thanks

    Hi Smadger,

we know that people can reduce the size of the installation. We did it as well during the testing phase.
But officially Windows 10 64 bit needs 2GB RAM and 20 GB of eMMC

Anyhow, maybe you can share your image or more details to the other users :)

I cannot share the image because it contains private protected work, and I would gladly share the steps needed, but don't have a 1Gb Up to work with? ;);)

Hy Fab, i find the solution for U.
    I've buy the Up 16g 1GRam , I've installed Windows 10 64bit but 14.4 Gb used only for windows, 600 mb for me :(.
After many test , the solution is : Compact OS.
Is not difficult very simple, i've found a procedure step by step and "magia" 9Gb for Windows.
Work good, no problem , 444mb of memory RAM.
The procedure is in italian my language sorry (https://www.windowsblogitalia.com/2015/10/windows-10-compact-os/) you can try to translate or ask to blogger to translate for u.
