Booting retrieved up squared

I have brought back a up squared from the field. After getting back to the shop it looks to power on by having the blue light, the HDMI output looks like nothing is Being displayed.
I have tried resetting by unplugging temperature battery.
Can the bios functionality be confirmed without a monitor? Also, what wold be reasonable steps to see if the up^2 board is broken?

I reset with battery out and tried a flash drive and finally got the bios to load. If I press f7 at the bios screen it can't load any of the options except the built in efi shell. Further confusion about why the internal drive doesn't show up as an boot option.

Hi SethH, probably the boot sector is not recognised. Try to re-install the operating system.
You have to use a USB drive with EFI boot support, either Windows installer or Ubuntu Linux 16.04 for example.
