Java Installation on ubilinux

I have installed ubilinux on the upboard. Now I need to install java. Is there a guide. I found just one guide and that didn't work for me. Its not from the up community so I am scared to pursue it as I might hit a dead end. I need to replace a Raspberry pi with an up board. The code is alreadu written in java
