Camera Module Support for Bayer RGB Sesnor
Myself Rajesh, I am working on some camera use case. Recently, I have purchased an UP2 board for our camera POC requirements on android.
I would like to know the current camera module & driver supports for UP2 Android board.
And , I would like to know more details on below question.
- what kind of MIPI CSI connector is used ( Need to place an order for camera modules) ?
- Do we have Bayer RGB sensor support ? if yes please give me supported module name.
- Can I control an auto focus ?
In my POC, I would like to control the Auto focus , for that , which is the best camera module compatible with UP2 board. Please suggest me asap.

UP^2 MIPI CSI connector info as below
- CN4 (4-lan) is Panasonic.AYF333135, FPC/FFC Conn
- CN5 (2-lan) is Hirose.FH35C-21S-0.3SHW(50), FPC/FFC Conn

Thanks for update. Please give me some more info.
UP-CAMERA HAT for 2M camera kit, its support to the Auto Focus -> Can I control the actuator motor to change the focus at run time? If answer is yes, how to do that from android side.MIPI CSI is not yet ready for Android 7.1 for UP^2 -> when it will ready from your side?

COMS use OV2740 ==>I have gone through the site ( https://www.ovt.com/sensors/OV2740) . it looks like OV2740 doesn't support a AF.

Sorry, you are right; the CIFGF18(2M) is not supported for AF feature. So, we currently don't have the AF camera module to support thisMIPI CSI is not yet ready for Android 7.1 for UP^2 -> when it will ready from your side?

As per above details , MIPI CSI would be enable on Beta Release. Can you please let me know the Beta Release date ??
