Up^2 - Ubuntu 16 LTS ISO for bootable USB on Mac?

Hello,
I just got my new Up^2 board and want to install the supported Ubuntu. I'm running on a MAC and I'm looking for an ISO to create a bootable USB. The download link for the latest OS is a zip file which I can get onto the USB stick. I've tried Etcher and ApplePI, both fail to create an USB install OS. Any suggestion on how to get the OS onto my board?
Regards, O.

Not sure which download link you are talking about, but if the zip file does not contain an iso, just download Ubuntu 16.04 from the offcial Ubuntu website. Here is the official list of mirrors:

Thx. I was looking for the Up^2 specific kernel and drivers to be installed as well. I'm going to install a base Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and then follow: https://wiki.up-community.org/Ubuntu
