LVDS & eDP on Up Squared

Hello,
I have two questions regarding the Up Squared, which I haven't been able to get clear answers to, so I'm asking here.
The first is, can the LVDS pins on the exHAT be used to work with an LVDS touchscreen display? Or is it just for custon low-voltage differential signal applications?
Secondly, is it possible to use touchscreen signals over the eDP connector? So will an eDP touchsreen work with the Up Squared? Or does it need external USB connection for the touch signals?
