No picture on monitor via HDMI connection

Hello,
I currently use the UP board, Reference: RE-UP-CHT01-A12-0432, for a small number of hardware prototypes. For two boards, I've had the issue of the image on the screen disappearing after a couple of minutes working with the board. I connect to an external monitor via HDMI.
Now I cannot get a picture to show up on the screen at all - my monitor doesn't detect an HDMI connection. Is there any way to troubleshoot this?
