not sure if this is problematic, system seems to work ok so far

Hi Rob, thanks for your report and sorry for the belated response.

The messages are harmless and don't indicate any actual issue with your board:

This is printed because the ubilinux kernel enables CONFIG_OF and yet the board provides hardware information through ACPI instead of DeviceTree.

This message was always printed on Apollo Lake systems. This was only fixed recently - see https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/840384/

this is for the up2 N3350 running ubilinux 4.0, bios upgraded to 2.1
