BIOS for UpCore 1GB

Hi,
we're just trying out a couple of 1GB UpCores that we ordered.

Thing is that the latest BIOS, downloaded from here:
https://downloads.up-community.org/download/up-core-uefi-bios/

has this note:

_IMPORTANT:
This BIOS supports 2GB and 4GB memory.
Do not update this BIOS to a board with 1GB memory.
_

Do you have any information on available BIOS for the 1GB version?
As far as we can see, the physical memory available to Linux (from cat /proc/meminfo) is only 512MB. There might be other issues as we're just starting to test this model now.
