HDMI 2.0a for atmos pass through

Is it possible to replace the HDMI 1.4b port with a 2.0a port? Would the device be able to recognize it and be able to pass the metadata for atmos audio to my atmos receiver? If not is there a plan to institute this in a new board coming out?
Basically want to be able to utilize dolby atmos with the board for my HTPC that I am building with the board.
