Up board with HDMI screen 800 x 480 plus USB3 To VGA Adapter

Hello

I'm trying to add a second monitor to the UP board via a USB3 To VGA Adapter. The Adapter work fine with my laptop and allows me to add a monitor with up to 2048x1152 on my laptop, but when using the Up board in the same kind of configuration the upboard allows only a resolution of 800x600 on the same external monitor with same drivers and same monitor ... Looks like a limitation of the UP board BIOS ???

Please tell me how to use the UP board with the USB3 to VGA Adapter with the higher resolution (like 2048x1152) on the Upboard - any configuration on UP board required ?
