Hello,
i want use the UART on the GPIO-pins. The driver for this is installed correctly. Both ports are activated in the BIOS.
But there is only one com-port in the device-manager , com1. It works, but on CN7.
I found this one

There is the solution to deactivate the debug-com-port, but I can't find this option in the BIOS...
Can someone help me??
Thanks!

Hi, larsmen
the BIOS menus are not available for 40-pin GPIO header (UART1), and it's for CN7

Could you please provide me your BIOS Ver. ? -
The BIOS is updated to UPC1BM0X_EFI, the latest to download.
Is there no way to use the uart1 as an COM-Port, like COM1?
Thank you! -
From i know, you can't use directly UART1 in winodws , please use DIO SDK to controlling the gpio
