Can't install ubilinux?

I've tried following the ubilinux install procedure from the wiki here: ubilinux
But when the UP boots, I never see a "UP logo", and holding/pressing F7 gives me a "Please select boot device:" menu that only offers a choice of "Enter setup". Selecting that then just asks for a password that doesn't seem to be anything obvious, so dead end there.
The file "ubilinux-3.0.iso" seems to successfully copy to the flash (burned using dd from another Linux box), but the UP doesn't seem to recognize it?
Is my board just defective?
Thanks!

It could be an issue either with the flashing of the system on USB or the USB stick itself.
At first you could try a different USB stick.
If it doesn't work, could you try with another tool (on Windows you could try Rufus, on Linux unetbootin, etc.)?
