Windows 10 Installation Single Partition

I have run into a few issues while trying to install Windows 10 Pro using a USB flash drive. Originally I was getting an error "We couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one. " This was unfortunate, but I followed a few steps that had remedied several other peoples similar issue using the repair tools that come with the windows installer. This appears to have been a mistake because it has now combined the MBR partition and the main partition. Is there a way to restore the partitions?

Hi Anthony
You can refer to the link below for partition issue
Fix We couldn’t create a new partition or locate an existing one when installing Windows
About "restore the partitions", maybe you can try to choose three-party app like AOMEI Partition Assistant.... or backup the directory partition to restore hard disk -
Thanks roger1tsai. I actually did manage to fix the partitions via the command prompt, but rather than post those instructions I will say that this is recoverable just by running the Windows installer and ignoring all the warnings that the installer gives. Somehow I had missed the actual Windows 10 instructions which would have worked fine, but I will say that this was solvable just by having the guts to ignore the warning.
