Deactivate / Activate HDMI output

Hello,
I have to disable and enable the HDMI interface on my UP Board via terminal. I have tried it with xrandr --output HDMI1 --off, however, the monitor still recognizes that the device is connected. The board must behave as if the HDMI plug is pulled so that the monitor automatically switches to the 2nd input.
I have installed Ubilinux 3.0. In a RaspberryPI forum I have read the here with the program vcgencmd this can be achieved. Is there an option for the upboard?
