For older kernels, there's a workaround for a wireless issue related to the Linux rtl8192cu driver that might help: https://wiki.up-community.org/Wireless#Patched_kernel_driver
As suggested on another post, the output of https://wiki.up-community.org/Software#Requesting_support_for_Linux_OS may help me troubleshoot this issue as well.
