Choosing harware for 3d scanner

Hello, I need to choose the right hardware to work with this 3d scanner. Is it possible to use Up-hardware? I would be very gratefull if anyone would help me.

    Why not use UP+ RealSense R200 camera ?
    I've tried their SDK for 3D scan, it works fine. Of course, I believe more refining needs to be done from software level.
