HDMI Touchscreen Display to use with Up Board

Hello,
I need to put the display far from the Up Board and I guess that my best option is to use a HDMI display.
If it' s possible, I would like to use a touchscreen display of 7" or 10". Searching around in the internet, I found out a lot of displays, but it seems most of them are specifics for platforms like Raspberry Pi or Odroid (VU7+).
So, can anyone advise me what characteristics I must search in a touchscreen display that will work with Linux + Up Board via HDMI? Or indicate a display that someone already tested and should work fine?
Thanks a lot.

Hi
HDMI for the video and USB for the touch screen is the best option ( and cheapest ) if you have to control it at long distance ( >1 m ).
There are no specific constraints on the display and the touch screen and no matters if they are for Rpi or other boards as long as there is HDMI and USB and of course the Linux drivers for Touch Screen and resolution supported by BIOS.

Thank you very much for the information, Fab.
