HDMI bypass or dummy load

My project with my UP Board has come to the point where I do not want the
HDMI hooked up.
My project is a field robot and I want it to function via voice commands or autonomous after
receiving a voice command.
If I start the UP Board with HDMI monitor hooked up the Ubilinux OS will go straight into my
program which announces itself then waits for voice commands. If I remove the HDMI cable the system
and program still run.
If I start the UP Board WITHOUT HDMI monitor attached the unit will NOT enter my program.
Is there an HDMI bypass or safe HDMI dummy dongle?
Thank you!
Andy
