UP-Board overheating and giving no output signal (+USB Ports not working)

Hello,
I was using my UP-Board just fine for a few days, when today two of the USB 2.0 ports stopped working. I tried rebooting the board several times to see if they would work on their own, but they did not. So I checked another forum post which told me to remove the CMOS battery plug for a few minutes, then plug it back in. After I did that the board started overheating and was not giving any output signal to the monitor.
Do you have any idea why the UP-board is behaving like this?
Thanks,
Omar
