Is there a way to remove a bios password or reset the bios in general?

The BIOS password prompt you get normally is to enter the advanced BIOS functionalities: https://up-community.org/wiki/Firmware#Engineering_BIOS_password
To enter the normal BIOS menu just press the enter button.
If you wish to reset the BIOS you can unplug the RTC battery and re-plug it after few seconds.
