I've been trying to install MS 7,8,10 and linux onto the upboard
Every time I try to do so I encounter some sort of error.
Note: All the times I have tried to install an OS it was a clean install, i used rufus and the widows media creation tool, I've put a link to a video on what happens

any suggestions would be great

Hi Grundym,
This looks abnormal.. Do you have another UP board on hand or another HDMI monitor can cross check? -

Actually thats the second hdmi I used. Before I was using an hdmi to vga but I switched incase that was the problem.
I dont have another UpBoard on hand but i know both the hdmi and hdmi to vga work because i use them frequently with my laptop. I disregarded the problem being with the usb also because I purchased a new one but ended up with the same results. I believe it has something to do with the board itself but I don't know how to go about fixing it -
NOTE*
I do have 2 raspberry Pi's that work with the hdmi and booted off of my old usb in the past -
Hi Grundym,
Can you help to check if you also encounter the problem under "BIOS Setup" (Press Del when booting up), and during operation installation? -
The default password is “upassw0rd”
-
no problems getting into the bios

Boot order
>windows boot manager
>my usb -
I havent touched this since ive posted this thread,
Now its booted into the "Up Bridge the gap" window and has been buffering on "getting ready" for the last 5 minutes -
*FIXED*
I've been supplying my power source from a usb to the GPIO pins (2,6) to power it. It was carrying a load of about .5 amps and now i changed it over to a power supply 13 v filtered into a constant 5v with 3 amps I believe, Everything seems to be up and running now as I am using Win 10 on it.
