UP supports secure boot but it is not enabled by default. You can contact us directly via email for any further clarification you might need.
The TPM chip is not present onboard but it can be connected to the I/O header. -
Thanks for your reply. Can you provide more detailed information and shared with the community on how to implement on UP Board?
Thanks! -

I'm interested about the implementation of TPM on UpBoards.
Can anyone give me some guidance with de GPIO connection and BIOS configuration?
Thanks!, Cheers! -
Unfortunately the current BIOS does not support Secure Boot. We are looking into options to enable Secure Boot in future UP Bard BIOS releases, we will be able to provide you an update and dates in September.

Hi @Devi,
There is a fTPM (Firmware TPM) available on UP Board, a SPI (or I2C) TPM module can be connected and integrated at Software level (SW integration is not done by us).

I am very much interested to interfacing TPM Module (SLB 9670 TPM2.0) to my UP Board. How can I find if the TPM device is connected or not, properly to my UP Board. In BIOS settings shows TPM Enable,
even I didn't connect TPM module.
I am using Windows 10 IOT Enterprise LTSC OS in my UP Board.
can you please guide us.... How to enable discrete TPM on UPBoard. -
Hi @Devi ,
Like mentioned before (SW integration is currently not done by us). For Windows, You will have to first install the GPIO drivers for upboard from our downloads page as well as the UP framework SDK
After that you can connect the discrete TPM board to the pinouts on the upboard. Kindly check to find the SPI pins from our upboard windows pinout page
You can check these articles for more information:
I hope this helps.
Best Regards,
