Problem with boot when Panel support is enabled

Hi,

I found some problem with booting when Panel support is enabled in UEFI - ubilinux stuck on boot process.

Also graphics installer in Ubuntu 14.04 / 16.04 stuck on grey screen.

Disable Pannel support in UEFI helps, but after successfully installation Ubuntu and enabled UEFI option boot stuck again.

Tested on 4GB Up Board version with UPC1BM0X firmware with 10.1" attached screen

Tested with ubilinux 3.0, Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 16.04

    Hi All,

    Unfortunately the LCD is not yet supported on Linux, even with the latest changes in the BIOS, while it is working fine on Windows and Android.

    It seems the Intel GPU driver in 4.4 Linux Kernel doesn't handle it properly.

    timeline for fix? workaround? alternative panel?
    looking for a linux panel pc industrial grade.
