problem in the installation of Ubuntu 14.04

Hi All,
I started this morning to use my UP board (4 GB RAM + 64 GB eMMC) but I found a problem in the installation of Ubuntu 14.04.
I connected a portable CD player at the USB port and I turned on the UP board. The board recognise the CD player and the installation starts but at a certain point the installation process stops because there is no available space in the hard disk: it says that only 1.8 GB are available.
Any ideas or suggestion?
Thanks a lot.
Francesco.

Have you tried using a usb stick to install it with? I did that and it worked fine.
