Support for Sierra Wireless EM9190/EM9191 5G card
Can anybody confirm that Sierra Wireless EM91xx 5G works on UP Squared 6000?
That card is a bit specific, works in PCIe only mode unless specific pin (PCIE_DIS) is pulled up.
User manual shows that PCIe lane is routed to B-key M.2 but other diagrams show only USB connectivity.
Thanks!

UP Squared 6000 does not support Sierra 5g module due to no PCIE DIS on M.2 Key B Slot (CN35)
But you can use the following 5G modules for UP Squared 6000
1. SIMCOM SIM8200EA
2. Quectel RM500Q
3. FIBOCOM FM150 (available from our shop: https://up-shop.org/5g-lte-module-series.html ) -

Hi,
My Squared 6000 arrived and unfortunately my Quectel card doesn't when inserted in CN35.

Same card works fine on the same system when inserted in external adapter (USB 2.0).

Basically linux kernel is not able to set usb configuration on this card when connected to CN35.
Tried both on ubuntu 22.04 kernel and latest mainline.Any idea what might be wrong?

@dmarion
Try to update the RM510Q-GL firmware to the latest version.
