CSI-2 raw data access

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, but I was wondering from a system-level perspective if the UP Core Plus fits our requirements namely we want to capture raw data on the CSI-2 interface coming from an in-house sensor.

A Raspi-4 allows that by using raspiraw, more or less well documented but seems to capture data directly on the CSI-2 interface. What about the UP Core Plus? Shall we use the Linux kernel in a fashionable way to access that raw data? We are aiming at using Ubuntu.

Is actually the UP Core Plus suitable for that?
