UpDemoApp does nothing

I built the UpDemoApp and ran it; I dont get the main windoe showing up. In fact, nothing shows up, as if the application never started. Note that I had installed UpFramework already.
Any ideas?

What's your operating system? IoT core? Have you deployed the UpDemoApp to your UP?
Here is an example of IoT core OS, you can find the App after the UpDemoApp deployed.
