Justboom HAT on UPBoard + Ubuntu

in UP Board Linux

I have installed ubuntu 4.15.0-37-generic on UPBoard.
I would like to use Amp HAT from justboom.co (TAS5756M chip)

Is it possible ?
I can find some instructions for RPI/ubuntu/MATE distribution on internet , but it seems these instructions are RPI/ubuntu/MATE specific and they are not applicable for UP/Ubuntu.

    Hi @Lubo

    Unfortunately it is not that simple for I2S devices like that Audio HAT.

    You would need to use the latest mainline kernel available (5.4 or 5.5) and check with The SOF project if that DAC is supported: https://github.com/thesofproject

    Then still some integration might be needed at Linux OS level.
