UP Core Wireless Driver request (Linux)

Hey UP Community!
Does anyone know what chipset the Broadcom wireless chip is?
We were trying to retrieve the Device ID for it for a good part of the last two days. Through $ lsmod we have deciphered that the chip runs on some form of a brcmfmac driver (https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/brcm80211) - however there is no /lib/firmware/brcm/ directory under either ublinux4 or ubuntu.
We're using 4.2.0.3-upboard kernel in our Ubuntu build (xubuntu 14) - would it be possible for someone to provide a driver for wireless?
Thanks in advance!

Hi
there's no broadcom wifi chip
the chip is an AMPAK AP6214A
you can find the debian package that ubilinux uses here
https://ubilinux.org/ubilinux/pool/main/f/firmware-ampak-ap6214a/
ps: Regarding kernel 4.2 you probably will need something more to make it work have a look at our kernel source on github

The OS installations for the Upboard Core are not good at all. Drivers as especially a problem. This should be much better implemented. Especially true for Windows 10 and Ubuntu. This board is offered with a focus on Windows 10 Developers and it is a major pain trying to do the simplest thing; install the operating system and boot to a stable OS. Needs work. Any help would be appreciated.

I just got updated drivers from the team.
Keen to know the feedback.

UP Core Windows driver_chipset_camera_wifi_bt_uart -
Can those be posted somewhere where we'll find them in the future?

yes. We will put it all in download area soon.

I've successfully installed the wifi driver on my UP Core with Ubuntu 14.04 server, however I'm having trouble working out how to connect to my wifi. Note that I have server installed, so I need to do it from the command line

So here was my final result.. I happened to have a USB to RJ45 adaptor that I managed to make work with my Ubuntu install.. After a while screwing around trying to make wifi work using the suggestion here: https://askubuntu.com/a/652926/816430, I finally installed the package mentioned here: https://wiki.up-community.org/Ubuntu, and voila! Wifi all working, without an antenna (literally sitting on top of the wifi router though)
