Cannot flash bios: "Not Found"

Hello,
I just received my up squared after kickstarting it a long time ago, and I am excited to start using it. However, I cannot for the life of me flash the BIOS. If I select "Launch EFI Shell from filesystem device" I get "Not Found". My USB stick is plugged in on startup, and contains the contents of the upa1am21 folder.
The USB stick is formatted to FAT32.
Would could be the problem?
Thanks!

You should use the "Launch built-in EFI Shell" - option.

Hi,
I wasn't sure how to flash mine at first either, but the comments in this thread might be of some help to you: https://up-community.org/forum/general-discussion-up2/2250-updating-the-uefi-bios-on-a-new-up-squared-board.
There is also a section in the Wiki, which you can find at https://up-community.org/wiki/Firmware Although this article is badly in need of an update, the screen shot gives you an indication of what you should be seeing. Mind you, I am not sure where they got "fs2" from as it isn't shown in the picture, and mine was actually "fs1".
Having entered "fs1", the command "LS" showed me the files on my USB stick, and just running the command "GO" sent it on its way. As you have probably gathered I updated mine last night without any problems, following the above instructions, so hopefully you will now be successful.
Good Luck! -

Looks like it was updated today - and with a lot more detail!Eric Duncan - UP Evangelist - My thoughts are of my own free will
