I'd like to indoor mapping and navigating with three R200 cameras.
I'm trying it on lattepanda board and USB3.0 hub, but maybe failed.
Can I connect THREE R200 cameras on ONE up square board, and play with 3 depth images simultaneously?

Hi,
By our experience in UP, one R200 took a lot of resources from memory. You need to have at least 4GB RAM and active cooler.
We haven't tried R200 on UP Squared yet, but it will be quite a challenge to run 3 x R200 camera at the same time. -
You can try it but, as Aling said, it is going to be challenging!
My best bet for the test would be the UP Squared N4200 with 8GB of RAM.
I am not sure is going to work well, but I wouldn't try anything with less CPU/RAM configuration. -
As Up-shop noticed, it will be shipped in September.
But I cannot wait until September.
I'll find another way. thank you -
Thank you for answer.
I reallize that running 3 R200 at the same time is a sweat daydream -
Running one kinect 2 has the same FoV and depth as 2 x r200s. muhc simpler solution. Especially since you can pick them up for $30 used in the States.

also in refernce to you question the answrr lies in what the objective is with the depth maps. if you just want to save off the depth maps to disk, you'll just seen faste enough ssd. if you want to project the depth maps into point clouds, no the up squared won't have enough go juice to keep up (few computers would).
