Greetings fellow Uppers (?!).
I am a 38 (ok fine, in 20 minutes 39 ...) year old software engineer and my background is UNIX administration, being a UNIX teacher but first and foremost a software engineer. My experience ranges from low level assembly/C, up through C++ and currently I am working as a C# developer.
I am currently playing around with my board trying to see what works and what doesn't. Apart from that it gets a bit hot (can't keep my finger on the heatsink for more than a few seconds) it's working sort of OK. With better drivers I'm sure it'll be even better.
I hope to attend Embedded World, and if I do, I'll come shake some hands.

Nice to meet you Stefan!
We are nearly from the same generation then, but I am from 1979
Interesting to see your experience with Unix. The Unix philosophy (modules and processes) is really interesting.
