I trust this message reaches you in good spirits.

I'm reaching out regarding the UP2 board recently acquired. Regrettably, it was powered with the incorrect voltage (12v instead of 5v). As a result, the board no longer displays any output, although the blue LED does illuminate. I kindly request your assistance in rectifying this issue.

I have installed a Kingston A400M8 SATA SSD in the M2 slot but it is not being recognized by UEFI. I find nothing in the setup that would involve enabling this slot. The external SATA port appears to work, although I am seeing evidence of an interrupt storm when booting (i.e. it crawls along and took nearly two hours to complete an installation that takes five minutes on the original UP2). The speed improved, but not entirely, when I remove the Kingston SSD.

Also noted, the power supply connector is poorly soldered and cuts out with the slightest wiggle.

Has anyone gotten a M2-based SATA SSD to work?

I have a new Up2 Pro board that I'm trying to start using. I put the UNAPAM22.bin load on the board without issue (I see reasonable output on the screen via HDMI connector), but I'm not seeing anything on the serial output. I saw HDMI output from the default load, but didn't have the cabling in place to check the serial output.
I'm observing the serial output at 115200 baud (8N1, with no flow control) and not seeing any output. I am using the USB 2.0 pin header cable (EP-CBUSB10PFL01) and simple wire connections from that to my laptop's RS232 connector. I flipped the transmit and receive in both directions as a sanity check, but I don't see anything output. Does anything seem incorrect with this setup?

Under redirection tab, I can enable redirection and set port speed but port still shows disabled (even after reset). The lower option for Console Redirection serial Port for Out-of-Band Management does not appear as it did in previous version (which is on older board that I have). Console redirection is required for my application.

Hi Up,

I ordered a power supply for a UP Squared Pro board. When I tried to used it, it could not be inserted easily into the power socket on the board. Checking the image on your website, it looks like the one I received has different ending. Furthermore, the received package is labeled (EP-PS12V5A60WFJ) which is not what I ordered (EP-PS12V6A72WFJ).
Attached pictures of the received charger.

I have a new UP2 Pro, but the power supply and a case are not listed or sold on the UP-Shop site. I found a part number from AAEON 1255X00032 but I don't find any source for this supply. The connector is a threaded type and the supply as a 12V6A model. They list a supply for the UP eXtreme, which has a threaded connector, but it is 19V. The UP Core Plus supply is 12V5A, but the connector pin dimensions appear to be too small.

Can anyone point me to a source for a compatible power supply?

Likewise, there appear to be no case to fit the slightly larger UP2-Pro. I assume that one is in the works?

1. Based on what we’ve searched, Rpi and Upboard have different I2C communication speeds.
Is there any way to stabilize I2C communication like Rpi?

Is there a particular setting for RS-485 communication? Would you please give us further details for the RS485 communication application?

Is there another way of the power supply? Your connecter is unapplicable for our application arrangement. We prefer connectors that have a settling connector between the power cable and
the board.

Heatsink is too big and blocking the locking holes for our arrangement. If we are planning to attach a smaller heatsink, which part(chips) do you recommend us to attach the heatsink on. Additionally, it is so hard for us to settle the board with the heatsink attached. Do you have any advice on this issue?

The product can be installed outdoor. We prepared the case, fan, and heater, but we are still concerned of the operating temperature, would you share us the outdoor installation cases?

Can you customize the ports on the Up squared pro to minimize the height? For example, we prefer only USB3.0 dual-port, HDMIx1(DP 1.2port no needed), LAN Single Port. Are there minimum order requirements for this customization?

When we were using Rpi, we input all the settings on the SD card and copied it to set multiple boards. If we would like to input the same setting to multiple UP boards, which method do you recommend?

Please feel free to give us helpful advice according to our settings.
