Since I want an Edge system with 64GB EMMC and 8GB RAM the only option seems to be the Embedded X6425RE processor (UPN-EDGE-EHLX4RE-A10-0864).
I see this processor seems to not have Burst enabled by default and runs on a fixed 1.9GHz?
Is it possible to enable Burst from the BIOS or do I need to buy the J6426 version with only 32GB EMMC / 4 GB RAM for 3GHz (burst) clocks??

Hi

We bought a few UP2 6000 boards a few months ago.
Now one of them does not boot up - no output on HDMI or DP monitor is seen, but the leds on the board are lit.
How to troubleshoot further or get it repaired under warranty?

I want to build Audio-Streamers which over I2S or USB feed external High-End-Digital-Analog-Converters (with external clocks etc).

So, the requirement is to have lowest noise, lowest jitter possibe. Best clocks be it for the TSC/CPU or USB clocking are very important.

The Atom x6425RE brings Intel® Time Coordinated Computing Tools to Ubuntu...

So, I am not sure if this is what I should try in any case as I susoect that the quality of clocks, buffering, lowest jitter etc is helpful even for normal PCM-PLayback

or

This is not such a great idea as the actually apps like MPD (Music PLayer Daemon) anyhow are not realtime-apps and we dont have a real-time requirement neither.

So, is TCC only for very special realtime-devlopers or will the tuning of the system towards lowest jitter plus maybe some more precise clocks (?) not in any case be very beneficial...?

As there is a significant price premium between a x6425RE and a normal Celeron board...I would be thankful for some guidance.

I am confused a bit User Guide vs Actual implementation - user guide states in one place that M.2 Key M is populated with x2 PCIe lanes while actual slot pinout in the same user guide shows only x1 lane populated. Without schematic my understanding is the following:

1) M.2 Key E - x1 PCIe, x1 USB 2.0
2) M.2 Key B - x1 PCIe, x1 USB 3.0, x1 USB 2.0
3) M.2 Key M - x1 PCIe (or x2 ?)

Can somebody confirm these three point above? Another thing that I really do not get is why designer didn't route at least x1 PCIe lane to this board to board 100pin connector - this will be really cool.

Can anybody confirm that Sierra Wireless EM91xx 5G works on UP Squared 6000?
That card is a bit specific, works in PCIe only mode unless specific pin (PCIE_DIS) is pulled up.
User manual shows that PCIe lane is routed to B-key M.2 but other diagrams show only USB connectivity.

Thanks!

The UPN-EHL01 User's Manual only shows the standard Raspberry Pi compatible pinout, but does not go into detail.

Hi all,

I have created a chassis for the Up Squared 6000 using measurements I took myself of the board along with the PDF drawings on up-board.org. You can find it on GrabCAD. I would appreciate any feedback or comments on the design.
