Hi all,
New comer here, and I want to use the UP4000 to replace Raspberry Pi and use Windows OS.
The COM1, the serial port in 40-pin doesn't work.
I've searched the forum and I cannot find a working solution. I tried this Python code, but it doesn't work. https://forum.up-community.org/discussion/4774/uart-port-works-on-windows-10-using-minicom-device-monitoring-studio-etc-but-not-on-putty

I've also tried additional USB to serial port module, recognize as COM7 and it works well. I can received and send data.

I understand that there's a CPLD (Altara/Intel) that controls the HAT connector.
Is there any additional step that I need to do to make this work?

Cheers,
Iwan

I installed Windows 10 22H2 and I found that the audio through HDMI and USB-C DP port doesn't work.

I installed every drivers from UP and got every latest updates on Windows, but it didn't help. I tried every suggestion on this link and it didn't works either.

I checked three displays with hdmi port which audio through hdmi works well with my other device such as laptop, but only the UP 4000 with Windows didn't work.

The intereting thing is, UP 4000 with Ubuntu 22.04 can operate the audio function through HDMI very well. I suppose some driver in Windows doesn't work well.

In device manager, there's one device with a problem which named Multimedia Audio Controller. I think this is the cause of the problem, but I don't know the way to solve this problem.

Would you help me to make the audio function works well?

The UP4000 is advertised as being able to run Windows 10 IoT Core, however there isn't a download for it here: https://downloads.up-community.org/, under Up4000.

I'm assuming that as it supersedes the Up Board the download for this should be used, including the BSP's and packages for the Up Board (UPCHT). After following these guides provided here: https://downloads.up-community.org/download/windows-iot-core-bsp-and-guide/, I cannot get my board to enter the OOBE. Instead it hangs on "please wait while we get things ready", I have left it loading for 2 hours to no avail. Can someone please advise on what I am doing wrong?

I have been able to launch Windows 10 IoT Core on my Up4000 using a .ffu for an Up Board but was made without the inclusion of any drivers, however I require the use of the GPIO. Hence trying again.

It's worth noting that I have configured the board for GPIO in the BIOS.

Your response will be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Even if I install drivers in DP...255.zip audio doesn't work, the device is not found and sound icon on taskbar has red sign on it. What drivers need to be installed and where to download them? I also installed the Graphics drivers again even though I had never versions already installed. I also noticed I2C, GPIO etc. drivers seem not to work.

UP Board however works perfectly out of the box, sound and all on IoT core. Haven't tried with Enterprise.
